An eye for an eye!
The grave of James Murphy who was convicted of the murder of a Miss Charlotte Hinds in 1856. Along with a Thomas Dunne he was hanged at Cavan Gaol on May 16th 1856.
A somewhat lenghty and long winded account can be found among this article. It is mentioned in two different places so scroll down to find the account of the hanging.

He is buried at Drumreilly Church of Ireland in County Leitrim. This is the only grave I've ever seen with this type of inscription.
From what I can gather James Murphy was a catholic and he lies here in a protestant graveyard. Whether this has anything to do with the fact he was hanged I do not know.
