Absolute still

This is Derryclare Lough in the wilds of Connemara in County Galway. All along this road is dotted with lakes and bogs. In the background are the hills known as the Twelve Bens or the Twelve Pins. I have never encountered such total stillness and quiet as I sat by this lough.
