The "International Train" project: 1986 10+ innovative coaches were unveiled by BREL at their Derby Carriage Works, determined as a promotional 'International Train' being an opportunity to demonstrate BRELs passenger coach designing/building qualities with a view to acquiring orders from BR and foreign operators.
