Painted Dog
We left South Camp at Nxai Pan right after sunrise. It's an infamous road getting from the camping area down to the park entrance, because the surface alternates between deep sand and bone-rattling, bumpy wash-boarded sections. But... it's also known for wildlife.
We saw a small pack of African Wild Dogs (aka Painted Dogs), making the hassle of driving the road well worth-it.
