Yellow Eyelash Viper

Parque Nacional Cahuita, Costa Rica.

 

We were walking along the trail and came across a guide who was waiting for his clients and he pointed this snake out to us -- no charge!

 

There's no chance we would have noticed it, if not for the guide. It was just tucked into the foliage, about 20-feet off the trail.
