Buff-Bellied Hummingbird

I've figured out two reliable tricks for getting half-decent pictures of hummingbirds.

1-If you hear a hummingbird zip by, and there are flowers nearby (like on a big rhododendron), stake-out the flowers patiently and eventually a hummingbird will probably show up.

2-Find an active hummingbird feeder, wait for hummingbirds to feed, then watch where they go. Often they sit really-nearby, on branch or something, between feeder trips.

Anyway... this one zipped right back to a feeder moments after this picture.
