Transformation
“If you begin to understand what you are without trying to change it, then what you are undergoes a transformation.” Jiddu Krishnamurti

This is a good reminder. When I think of where and how I was just a few years ago and compare that version of myself to where and how I am now, I can experience more gratitude for the tribulations that helped me get to better understand my true self. Granted, I’m still learning about myself and how to best navigate life, but I’m learning how to honor my true nature and see the beauty rather than focus on everything *wrong* or *bad* or *ugly*. I just “AM”. The more *myself* I Am, the more beautifully and gracefully I transform. The easier it gets. I enjoy life more and can be more present. My experience and how I see life is what transforms the more I understand what and who I Am.

When we went to a waterfall here in North Carolina over the weekend, this stunning butterfly was undeterred by the crowds around it. I watched as it fluttered around little mini-drops of water on the rock next to the flowing water, sunning itself and sharing its vibrant colors with us all.

Let’s all be like this butterfly. Let’s show our true, exquisite, vibrant colors boldly while we do the things that make our experiences in life more nourishing and fun!
