The Radiator and Empire State Buildings on a Snowy Night

The coal-black American Radiator building, speckled by snow, looms over Bryant Park. And the Empire State building, enveloped by low clouds, takes on a ghostly appearance. The snow-covered branches were lit up by the park's lights for its ice skating rink.

The Radiator Building, built in 1924, was designed by John Howells and Raymond Hood, for use as the headquarters of the American Radiator Company. Today, the building serves as a hotel, The Bryant Park Hotel.
