Walter Gray 1992

Walter Gray was an Arbroathian who collected Arbroath sayings and expressions all his life, and in 1992 published many of them in a book, Parliamo Aberbrothock. Walter was cartoon editor of the Weekly News in Dundee, and a man from whom laughter was never far away. Ian 'Smokie' Gray, stalwart of the Beano scriptwriting staff, was his son.
