RNLI Cheque cartie race 1986

This is all speculation because there is absolutely nothing written on the back of the print, apart from the issue date. In February, 1986 the proceeds of a cartie race were presented to Major General Roger Ephraums for the RNLI Arbroath. Various youth organisations in Arbroath took part. Anyone add to that?
