025/365/2017: Stir crazy
Due to having a barking cough and a tight chest I haven’t been out running for four days now and I’m beginning to go a little stir crazy. I love my running time as it gives me space and time out to breathe in an otherwise hectic life. I also worry that I will lose some of my hard-earned fitness, particularly if I have another few days enforced ‘box rest’. So I had the bright idea today of jumping on Mike’s exercise bike. Ten minutes and my legs had had enough! But I will persevere.
This afternoon has brought some cheerful news on yet another damp and grey day. I was really chuffed to receive an email from the South Suffolk Show committee telling me that one of my showjumping photos from last year’s show is on the shortlist to feature on this year’s show poster. Even if I don’t win, it’s nice to have my work recognised and hopefully it will be a lead-in to do some photographic work for them in the future.
