82/100 "100 Strangers"
Considering I love shooting at night I rarely go out late any more. Must be my age! Having looked back over recent strangers I realised that I had a lack of women and was determined to fix this. I got the urge to head into town and finally ended up in Newcastle at around 11PM. Maybe because it was a Monday, or raining or because of both the city was very quiet. I was about to give up when I saw Lottie walking up Grey St. Her amazing hair caught my attention and then her lovely face. I asked her If i could take her portrait for my project and she smiled and said yes of course. She told me that she models and we chatted about some local photographers. One of whom is a good mate of mine. Newcastle is one of those weird cities where everyone appears to be connected. One thing that really made me smile was when she said "thank you for stopping to ask me" When events and connections like this happen I'm so glad I started this project.
