Steeley Magnesite Apocalypse Now
I have been so busy taking and edting photographs for everyone but myself recently. I grabbed my chance to go to Steetley Magnesite in Hartlepool today as my girlfriend had to go and work near Middlesborough for a few hours. I have seen this place pop up in neumerous flickr streams but never knew quite where it was. It looks like something out of a film set, almost like a Bond film or an episode of Lost?
I spent 3 hours walking around this old abandoned industrial site without seeing another person which was very bizarre.
