Flash mob
EIGHT Electricity vehicles at the substation near the bottom of my garden, on December 15th 2011.
The maintenance man at the Rest Home on the next corner rang up to ask why the power kept on dipping on this day.
"There is NO FAULT in your area", the operative said.
Meanwhile I had taken this photo as I went to the shops. NO fault, eh? They erected a tent over the substation, so perhaps it was just a festive drinks party.
So when I visited the home later in the day I showed the pic. He rang up again and was told once more "There is NO FAULT in your area"! Meanwhile the residents were having to put up with being half in the dark unexpectedly and repeatedly.
The following week in the paper it was reported it was a fuse. That's why we needed eight vehicles.
Not a good pic, but an interesting true story. Just shows that 'record shots' can be important.
