Come si può vedere esistono due battacchi:
- Quello più in alto viene utilizzato dagli uomini e la porta verrà aperta solo da un uomo della casa.
- Quello in basso viene utilizzato solo dalle donne e la porta potrà venire aperta da una donna.

As you can see, there are two clappers:
- The uppermost one is used by men and the door will only be opened by a man in the house.
- The bottom one is used only by women and the door can be opened by a woman.
