Tesoro di Atreo (Tomba di Agamennone),
è una tomba a tholos situata nei pressi della Rocca di Micenea e fu scavata dall'archeologo Heinrich Schliemann nel 1879.
Citata da Pausania, era ancora visibile nel 1879 quando l'archeologo tedesco Heinrich Schliemann scoprì le altre tombe reali sotto l'agorà nella Rocca.
Fu edificata intorno alla metà del XV secolo a.C. (circa due secoli prima dell'epoca presunta della Guerra di Troia) ed ospitò i resti forse del sovrano che portò a termine la ricostruzione della rocca o di un suo vicino regnante.
La tomba ripete la forma di altre tholoi del Mediterraneo orientale, presenti anche nei dintorni di Micene (circa dodici), ma in forme monumentali e grandiose, arrivando ad essere uno dei più impressionanti monumenti pervenutoci dall'epoca della Grecia arcaica.

Treasury of Atreus (Tomb of Agamemnon),
it is a tholos tomb located near the Mycenaean Rock and was excavated by the German archaeologist Heinrich Schliemann in 1879.
Mentioned by Pausanias, it was still visible in 1879 when Schliemann discovered the other royal tombs under the agora in the Rock.
It was built around the mid-15th century BC. (about two centuries before the presumed time of the Trojan War) and hosted the remains perhaps of the sovereign who completed the reconstruction of the fortress or of one of his ruling neighbors.
The tomb repeats the shape of other tholoi of the eastern Mediterranean, also present in the surroundings of Mycenae (about twelve), but in monumental and grandiose forms, becoming one of the most impressive monuments to have come down to us from the era of archaic Greece.
