Hase-dera Temple - Interno grotta Benten Kutsu.

Benten-kutsu si ritiene che sia la grotta dove Kobo Daishi, il fondatore del buddhismo Shingon, abbia meditato in solitudine.

All’interno sono custodite le statue, scolpite nella roccia, di Benzaiten (la dea della saggezza e della longevità) e di 16 bambini, sui seguaci.

Benten-kutsu is believed to be the cave where Kobo Daishi, the founder of Shingon Buddhism, meditated in solitude.

Inside are the statues, carved in the rock, of Benzaiten (the goddess of wisdom and longevity) and 16 children, on followers.
