Altare maggiore con la statua identificata come Santa Restituta.
Nel XVII secolo la cripta torna alla ribalta, quando furono ritrovate le reliquie della Santa titolare.
L’allora arcivescovo Francisco D’Esquivel fece risistemare l’altare che oggi ospita la statua tradizionalmente identificata con Santa Restituta, dando nuovo impulso al culto a lei dedicato.

In the seventeenth century the crypt returned to the fore when the relics of the titular saint were found.
The then archbishop Francisco D’Esquivel had the altar that now houses the statue traditionally identified with Santa Restituta rearranged, giving new impetus to the cult dedicated to her.
