Chiesa di Nostra Signora di Valverde (seconda metà del XIII secolo)
La chiesa è stata costruita fuori dalle mura della città, quasi contemporaneamente alla Cattedrale, con la quale condivide affinità stilistiche e strutturali.
La facciata, interamente realizzata in conci di pietra vulcanica è divisa in due ordini da una cornice orizzontale modanata.
Nel primo ordine si apre il portale sormontato da arco a tutto sesto con sopracciglio e nel secondo ordine si colloca una bifora gotica, anch’essa con sopracciglio.
Una serie di archetti ascendenti e trilobati segue l’andamento del terminale a falde.

The church was built outside the city walls, almost at the same time as the Cathedral, with which it shares stylistic and structural affinities.
The façade, entirely made of volcanic stone ashlars, is divided into two orders by a horizontal molded frame.
In the first order there is a portal surmounted by a round arch with an eyebrow and in the second order there is a Gothic mullioned window, also with an eyebrow.
A series of ascending and trefoil arches follows the course of the pitched terminal.
