My daughter. At age 8 she was the subject of an award winning photo taken by Michael Makor that landed him the award of photographer of the year. She modeled awhile and her photos were published in various magazines. I was picking her up from an acting class at the time this shot was taken. She also won awards in Pageants. About a year later her twin suffered a brain injury from an adult in our yard. He died 4 years later. This derailed her. A double tragedy. the loss of her brother and the injustices surrounding it, and the, hopefully temporary, loss of a talented artist.
