Splitting the Scene
Final shot of this series. Not the most thrilling shot of the series, but I have posted the images in the order that they were taken, and this shot represents the end of the encounter as they were splitting the scene. I did shoot a number of frames of these two, but I chose this shot because I liked the pose of the one on the right as it pivots as if it was going to blast off and could have been thinking, "Hey wait for me!"
Definitely my day was made by these two encounters. I headed for home shortly after this as the rising sun would soon be blocked by a bank of cloud and I doubted that I would be able to top the Elk encounters, and I was excited to see what kind of shots I had got.
