Eurasian Collared Dove
The Doves seem to almost always come in pairs. Tomorrow I will show the other that accompanied this one.
I have no idea as to what sex it is, but this one seems to be smaller than the other, but only slightly. The Cornell lab all about Birds site only mentions either Mature or Juvenile in their sample shots, and I could not see a difference between them.
I assume that this one is molting. I am not sure I like the look of it in this state. I often wonder if there is any kind of discomfort when this happens.
This one I call No Toes.
