Official time of Sunrise

Zip ahead to the official time of sunrise, again looking slightly south of west. Although the sun has risen trees have cast their shade on this area, and it would still be some time before any of the land here would be lit directly.

 

I had a tough time deciding which version to post of this scene. The other is a vertical which perhaps get my point across a little better, but in the end this contains more beauty of the area.

 

Basically my point, or what I was trying to show is that the large downed tree in the foreground was the result of a beaver who likely lived in the lodge in the background. So kind of a cause and effect of wildlife in the area.
