Avocet and Light Drizzle
Out of the group of Avocets that were sticking close to shore, this guy seem to be among the bravest as he was a bit away from the pack and also seemed unconcerned with me and slowly ventured towards me. Still a bit of a crop as they all have been, I was happy that it slowly moved into the position that it did so that the background and reflection of the background was darker, showing better the very light drizzle that was happening.
With that slight drizzle (best seen in full view) came some very soft light which is almost a prerequisite I believe to get a decent rendering of the light areas.
I do like many of the shots I was able to get, but this one is among my favorites; they really are lovely looking birds.
