Gutter Leaves IV
this, the second last in this series is the most different as it was taken with direct sunshine on it. I liked how the lower half is darker and richer, possibly because of the we bit of ice that covers it that is beginning to melt.
With the sun seasonably still low in the sky for the time of day shadows are long, and being in bright sunshine the shadows are dark making for a contrastier image than the others. Although I do like the textures in the area surrounding the leaf, it was all pretty much the same, so I have shot in closer giving more space to the leaf with what I felt was minimum space surrounding the leaf.
Tomorrow the last of the series may be my favorite if I had to pick only one.
