Fuzzy Bee Warming
Posting tonight as tomorrow is supposed to be a cooker, so I am going to aim for an early morning getaway.
While looking for wildflowers and anything that caught my eye at my local park I came across this guy, who stayed still for sometime, allowing me to set up my tripod. I managed a few shots and even tried a couple of videos, but a slight breezed messed up the videos putting it out of focus and then back in. After he wiggled his abdomen for a bit, he had had enough of me and slowly took off.
I am assuming that it was staying still because it was still cold,
as it was still pretty chilly. Evenings have cooled right off lately. You can tell that Autumn is not all that far away. It was nice to see a bee, as there sure seems to be many less than in past years. LIke all shots, full magnified view is best.
