House Finch in returning Sunshine
Posting tonite as I am going to try and get an early start tomorrow.
The same species as my last post, either a juvenile or a female, both of which look the same to me.
Taken later in the day when the rain had stopped and sun was peeking out from behind the remaining clouds. The feeder is out of the frame to the right and is casting a shadow, but with clear acrylic parts of the feeder allowing some light through. My favorite part of this image is definitely the light. Although it is taken out my window looking into my yard, it has a look of being taken in dappled light in the woods.
Great light, I feel can make just about any subject look good giving an advantage to most any image. Always worth being on the lookout for it. I really do like the light in my last post very much, but this, although very different is my favorite of the two images. I am really thrilled with this one.
