London Beach

When the tide goes out there is a ‘beach’ in London you can walk along. In some places it is muddy but here it is quite firm and sandy. The pigeons bathe and this is when to go mudlarking. Sometimes you can find clay pipes and bits of China and glass and I dare say other things too. The Thames is comparatively clean these days. Strange in the city to have this ‘beach’.
