UP 3094 East
UP 3094 leads a double stack train past the handiwork of the UP earlier this summer when they put about 20+ cars of manifest on the ground here at Loring including 6 haz-mat tankers. We are now a couple months removed from that and the pile of freight cars remains right where the derailment contractor left them.
It's a pity that they didn't wipe out a few more trees here. It would be a pretty neat shot if about 3-4 of the big cottonwoods that are here ceased to exist. As a matter of fact, the whole curve at Krieder is about fully overgrown to the point that it might not be a decent photo spot much longer.
