Horde Faction War Machine: Gobba Lobba
Gobba Lobba:
Goblins are a creative lot, able to put their cruel and cunning minds to creating ramshackle machines of war. They hastily assemble these war machines, strapping loose planks and rotted wood together to form rickety inventions never seen before. One such creation is the Gobba Lobba.
The Gobba Lobba is a hilariously cruel parody of a catapult mixed with a bolt thrower…with live ammunition. A particularly clever goblin chief assigns his minions to quickly assemble a Gobba Lobba before a battle, and the end result is quite effective. With a rickety frame of rotted wood and struts protruding from the top, the goblins crank back a set of chains and a battle-crazed, particularly maniacally insane goblin onto the launcher. This goblin straps on a set of torn leather wings and prepares for flight!
Hurtling through the air at an incredible speed, the crazed goblin half tumbles and half glides, attempting to aim at the ranks of the enemy. If the aim is correct, then the goblin can successfully take out scores of enemy at one time, crumpling himself and his foes into a mangled mess of broken bones and death. If the aim is wrong, however, then the goblin hurls right past the ranks of the enemy and lands in a crumpled, broken heap on the ground.
The war machines of the Horde are notorious for breaking during the heat of battle, exploding and falling apart as the goblins attempt to fire it. However, if the war machines can be managed to be kept together long enough to launch a projectile, be it live ammunition or collected scrap, then these war machines can be quite an effective way of thinning the foes number.
