My conceptual series explores teenager logic and how teenagers make certain decisions. It specifically explores the risk vs. reward logic that teenagers often find themselves facing whether it be a school, home, or even personal decision. It shows how while many teenagers know what they should be doing, they choose to do something else even if it may cause trouble in the end.
My series shows this concept by showing different situations where people are choosing to do something even though it could be bad in the long run. In one of my photos, it shows people preparing to cheat on a test. While this could cause a better grade in the long run, the risk could cause serious repercussions with the school. Other photos show procrastination from things such as studying and cleaning up your room to show the immediate satisfaction of scrolling through social media or watching TV while knowing there would probably be consequences for not doing what they are supposed to be doing.
