PHOTO FOUND! Enchanted Lens Camera Club (ELCC), Photo Marauders, Santa Fe Rail Depot, South Guadalupe Street, Santa Fe, New Mexico USA
A group of adventurous ELCC Marauders traveled by the Rail Runner commuter train from Albuquerque to Santa Fe, the New Mexico state capital today… every Wednesday, seniors ride the Rail Runner free… not that this means anything to us as we are all between 25-35 years old! However, as we disembarked the Rail Runner at Santa Fe Depot, I noticed a very old newspaper under a station chair… I picked it up and stuffed it in my backpack as we were leaving quickly to go shoot some of the oldest churches in the United States today and then enjoy some New Mexican food at Tomasita’s restaurant. I know it was wrong but I couldn’t help myself! Anyway, the newspaper was the “Santa Fe New Mexican,” dated June 15, 1955 and the lead story on the cover page had a headline, “New Albuquerque Camera Club Visits Santa Fe.” Here is the image from that article!
