At the Oasis. Karpaz Peninsula Cyprus
In 2018 I was privileged to travel to Northern Cyprus. We Found the Oasis online and placed a reservation for our room. The location is stunningly beautiful!
As the sunset, and the waves crashed onto shore, a storm was brewing that would grow so intense It kept us up all night and at one point we thought we would perish. Our cottage was creaking, shutters slamming against the old stone building, and glass breaking somewhere outside. The howling winds, thunder claps, and downpours were not the typical storms I'd endured elsewhere. Needless to say we made it and the next day was pristine as if nothing had ever happened.
