ISO 9001:

An ISO 9001 Certification is a standard to set a grade for the requirements of customers on the basis of Quality Management System (QMS). These standards have a great reputation on global scale of organizations

The series for these standards are created as international requirements and guidelines for Quality Management System. It was introduced in the year 1987 and had been getting better since the establishment. There are about 178 countries that have adopted these ISO 9001 standards as their convictions which can simply convey the importance of these standards. These standards are been revised again in 2008. The current versions of these standards were published in 2015.

Though there are enormous documents available in ISO 9001 certification (future enhanced version of certification), only ISO 9001 gives the assurance certificate to organizations. These standards are referred by the organizations to demonstrate the power of consistency of their products and value added services to ensure customer satisfaction. ISO 9001 certification is not a compelling standards that says to follow or adopt strictly, it is a choice of an individual and organization to adopt and follow

Another important thing to notice regarding ISO 9001 is that none of the ISO standards supports the registrations of organizations in any of the ISO family certified versions. But where in ISO 9001 is the only standard on which individual organizations can register and also get their own standards of products based on their quality of productivity.
