"Jesse" Make 5 to Nancy Gail

Born at the beach, Jesse had always been a free spirit. She loved the retro look that she saw now in all the stores and was a dyed-in-the-wool thrifter. When she graduated from High School she had a vision and no one was going to get in her way. She knew that she had talent for design and color and that she wanted to be a self-made woman. She earned her design diploma from an on-line course while working as many jobs as she could find. She was tireless in her pursuit of her own business where she could call the shots and help people live in an environment that spoke to their “ethos”. She loved the ocean and many times she could be found at odd hours sitting on the sand with her sketch pad in hand drawing the rooms that existed in her marvelous mind. Determination and luck were drawn to her and because people trusted her instincts eventually she opened her own store and people stood in line for her work. She was “green” before green was popular. Garage sales had always been a mainstay of her vision and where other people were tired of their stuff, she saw it as untapped potential and an excellent way to recycle. She knew how to strip furniture and re-purpose it by decoupage, mosaic and paint. Her love of purses resulted in a closet full of bags that were eclectic and interesting. This purse was donated to her favorite charity “Save The Green Turtles Foundation” with the hope that what she did made a difference in the Universe but most especially her beloved ocean.
