Very typical of Russia's miliaristic society and thinking. The star insignia on the left is from the military of the USSR. The one of the right is the military of today's Russian army. Russia has no independence day, so this is their big "hurrah" military day and they go all out. If you didn't know better, reading the banners and promos all around, you'd think that the USSR was the main reason for Hitler's defeat, if not the only one.
