Copyright © 2010 - All rights reserved - This sweet little Ukrainian child saw me making pictures of many things around her and asked me to make a portrait of her eating her ice cream cone while walking along the central promenade (typical of European cities) in downtown Ivano-Frankivsk in far western Ukraine. Wow! We thought she was just adorable, so I was delighted to quickly make this capture while she was talking to me. She was equally delighted to see it. It's one of my all-time favorites from our many travels. Such innocent youthfulness in her eyes. Love the angel ruffles around her neck. Right place, right time. These are the real people of Ukraine. I'll be hard pressed to capture a better real life youth portrait in the future...
