Nuts, Bolts, & Morning Sun
Like a large-scale version of a project built with the Erector toy construction set I had growing up in the '60s, the stout wooden uprights and heavy timber crosspieces of the Rocksprings trestle, bright in the morning sun, are arranged in simple patterns and joined with nuts and bolts to endure the stresses of weight, wind, water, and weather.
Camera: Minolta Autopak 700 (1966, with Rokkor 38mm f/2.8 lens).
Film: Kodak Tri-X Pan 126 (expired 1980), developed in Arista Liquid Developer for 5:30 minutes @ 70 degrees, and scanned with an Epson V600 scanner.
