Crossing Over at Chaney

With a trio of GE's up front, an empty rock train rolls through Chaney Jct, just west of Downtown Houston.

Coming from Martin Marrieta's Bender facility in northeast Houston, this empty rock train has a circuitous path to take before heading north for Arkansas. First the train follows the flow of traffic on the directional Lufkin Sub down into Houston proper, and is now doing a big lap around the city via Eureka and T&NO Jct to get turned around and facing north. Then it'll head up the Palestine Sub for the quarry at Malvern.
