Frames and Arches at Penford
Having left NS's Oakwood Yard a few miles back, CN's daily interchange with NS rolls south down the Dearborn Sub and across Conrail's Lincoln Secondary at Penford, named for the original owners of these two lines (Pennsylvania Railroad and Henry Ford, of the DT&I).
The concrete arches that line much of the Dearborn Sub once held the catenary of the DT&I's short-lived electrification, put up by Henry Ford in the 1920's.
