Passing the Ramp
Pulling out of Englewood Yard in the distance, a westbound manifest rolls past the Englewood intermodal terminal at the West Creosote control point.
UP has since closed the ramp here, consolidating Houston intermodal operations at their facility at Settegast Yard. Further, the Creosote Track/Siding to the left was lengthened in 2023 to become the new Main 1 as part of a triple tracking project between Englewood Yard/Tower 68 and Tower 26, two miles to the west.
