Englewood must be power hungry these days. After delivering a rock train to the Vulcan Materials facility in Stafford, southwest of Houston, the power desk decided to run the locomotives another 30 miles into town for use elsewhere. Here, on Houston's west side, the locomotives pass the former SP searchlights at Chaney Jct, where the Passenger Main (Main 2, H&TC) and the Freight Main (Main 1, GH&SA) split for a couple miles before reuniting at Tower 26 near Downtown.
