The alarm went off at 3am for this photo! Even if the nights are getting longer I would normally not get up at that time for a photo. Mid September is when I'd start to consider doing morning shots. However the night before, a couple of apps were predicting foggy conditions around us so it was a no brainer. Though when I looked out the window and saw no fog I almost jumped back into bed under the covers. Glad I didn't as this lake still had mist coming up from it.
