morning swim by
"It's foggy outside" whispered my wife in my ear at 5.30 this morning. Having just survived a weekend bout of manflu I was more than willing to sleep on my day off. But I had bought a drone for these kind of days (pictures incoming in the near future) so rolled out of bed and into my clothes.
As I waited for the fog to lift (turns out I could have wasted another three hours in bed before things got going!) I spent my time trying to find new photos of poles in water, something I'm quite partial to. The light though was very flat, boring and a dodgy shade of pea soup grey so didn't think I'd get anything. That is until a gaggle of geese decided to swim by. Rattled off a number of shots hoping they'd all line up nicely, with this being the best of the lot. Made up for the early start!
