Freccia Rossa
From the rain in the sunshine, rain in Tuscany, sun in South Tyrol. It's something different.
From Firenze I took this Freccia Rossa that went to Bolzano, I missed my connection with a regional train to Brennero to travel on to Innsbruck and so on back to Germany but that plan turned out differently than expected :))
I purposely missed my regional train by having my last coffee for the time being in Bolzano where 45 later I had a Euro City train, directly to Innsbruck.
The choice was quickly made.
I still had the time and made a phone call to my girlfriend to say that I was not driving to Germany yet because it was going to snow on the Brennerpass the day after this photo and I wanted to experience this again. The Predictions predicted a lot of snow...
The choice was made quickly.
In Bolzano I made this photo of the front of one of my favorite high-speed trains before I boarded the Euro City to Innsbruck.
