Reminiscing the Orion, widefield [Mar 2018]

My first successful astrophoto attempt back in 2018, taken with a basic camera kit. Target was the widefield Constellation of Orion, coincidentally also capturing some hint of its nebula complexes.

Being able to image this was both humbling and inspirational - positively affirming that astrophotography in a heavily light polluted environment may be difficult, but not impossible.

Shot was taken in Singapore, at a place far from the city lights, but still under a class 8 sky.

The stars are always out there, if you try just hard enough to seek out for them.

Clear skies, everyone.
