Fearless

We walked past this pole several times thinking this was the most fearless hawk we'd ever encountered. But there was more on his mind than the three of us Saturday morning. There were a pair of red shouldered hawks flying past his perch, being chased by grackles and red wing black birds. The bobcat was about fifty feet away. A couple of cooper's hawks were flying between trees. All the birds were squawking and screeching. No bird species, bobcat or us was going to get this hawk to fly away with its breakfast.
