8th annual free, open air international festival of short films. This year's theme was "Conflict", including the 1989 Oscar winning Best Animated Short, BALANCE, made by the Lauenstein Brothers from Germany and a Lebanese film, Carl Haddad's MY NAME IS..., that was cancelled at the last minute, apparently at the behest of government censors.
