Batman Year Zero: Part 2 "The Demon's Head"
Hello everyone and welcome to Part 2 of Batman Year Zero, hope you enjoy, and can I just say thank you all so much for the support for part one, it really means a lot to me. Once again hope you enjoy!
Context: This takes place roughly 4 years after Bruce Wayne left Gotham.

[Somewhere in the Himalayas]
Ra’s al Ghul: Good. You’re getting better, but not good enough!
[Ra’s swings wildly at Bruce forcing him up the stairs]
Bruce Wayne: Then I’ll just have to get better!
[As they keep fighting, someone is watching from the shadows]
Talia al Ghul: Such potential young Wayne has, don’t you think, Ubu? Not to mention he’s incredibly handsome.
Ubu: I’d say he’s a pretty average fighter, but once Ra’s has had his fun...he’ll be dead.
Talia: Not quite. Didn’t you hear?
Ubu: Hear what?
Talia: Ra’s is planning to make him the next Head of the Demon.
Ubu: What?! That hasn’t happened in over 600 years!
[Bruce shifts his gaze noticing Talia and Ubu for the first time, causing Ra’s to get a blow in on his side]
Ra’s: Never lose focus in battle!
Bruce: [Spits out blood] Duly noted…
Ra’s: You should’ve learned that by now in the 2 years you’ve been here.
[As they continue to fight, Bruce is able to get the upper hand and eventually disarms Ra’s and pins him to the ground with his sword at his neck]
Bruce: (panting) Ha...I’ve beat you…
Ra’s: Indeed you have...I knew you would one day...now...do it!
Bruce: [Slightly confused] Do what?
Ra’s: KILL ME! Become the Head of the Demon like you’ve always meant to be!
Bruce/Talia/Ubu: WHAT?!
[Talia and Ubu run out of the shadows]
Talia: Father, no!
Ubu: Sir...you cannot be serious!
Ra’s: Oh, I’m dead serious...it is time for me to move on and for Bruce to take my place. So Bruce, what are you waiting for? Complete your training and kill me!
[Bruce tosses the Katana to the side]
Ra’s: W-What are you doing?
Bruce: When I set out on this journey I promised myself one thing: I would not become a killer.
[Ra’s stands up]
Ra’s: I thought you were ready. You are physically but when it comes to mentally…
Bruce: So...what's next?
Ra’s: Nothing. Talia will escort you to your quarters and later there will be dinner.
Bruce: ….Yes, sir.
[Talia begins to walk Bruce to his room. Halfway there, she speaks…]
Talia: You know, Bruce, you’d be excellent with the League of Assassins.
Bruce: Pardon?
Talia: You heard me.
Bruce: What makes you think that?
Talia: Well, I’d say you’re the best student my father has ever had. Not only do you have the strength…
[Talia creepily strokes his bicep]
Talia: But you also have the determination which so many of our students lack.
Bruce: I...um..thank you?
[They reach his room and Bruce enters the room.]
Bruce: See you tonight?
Talia: (laughing quietly) Yes. See you tonight.
[Bruce shuts the door]
Talia: Wait 20 minutes, then make your move. Do not fail.
[Three assassins emerge from behind her. Talia begins to walk to the dining hall.]
Talia: Such a shame. He would’ve been a perfect candidate for my plan…
[Later that night, Bruce is getting ready for dinner]
Bruce: What to wear...what to wear…
Bruce: (hearing a small scuffle) What was that noise?
[He turns and catches the blade of a Katana]
Bruce: That was a big mistake…
[Laterer in the night]
[Ra’s, Talia, Ubu and other unnamed assassins sitting at a large banquet table.]
Ra’s: I hope everyone's enjoying their meals...I wish Bruce was here, but...he made the wrong choice.
Talia: That he did father.
[The Banquet halls slam open, revealing Bruce with a tattered suit. He throws the three assassins to the ground in front of everyone, then he sits down]
Bruce: Sorry I’m late, everyone. Ran into a little problem.
Ra’s: (Whispering) How did you?
Ras’s: Do not worry...I’m glad you’re here.
Talia: (Whispering) He really is the perfect candidate.

Wow, that was a doozy. I wanted to break it up into two parts, but I figured it’d be best to leave all of the League of Assassins stuff in one big part. Hope you enjoyed, leave your thoughts in the comments, and stay tuned for “Badgers Trying to Open A Pistachio”.
