Berg sculptures

Scoresby Sound, Greenland

 

Late afternoon we got stuck in the berg junkyard as the sailors call this area of Scoresby Sound in Greenland . The area is created by opposing currents pushing icebergs coming from different parts of the fjord system into a small bay. While navigation is treacherous and requires a visual direction, the area offers amazing vies of the ice formations.
